Static Mixers

The solution for the homogenization of gases with liquids and/or solids.

Static mixers are the combination of a series of geometric mixing elements fixed inside a cylinder, which use the energy of the flow stream to create a mixture between two or more liquids or gases. Static mixers achieve low pressure mixing quality. The understanding of the static mixer process is related to pressure drops, distributions, residence time, friction factor, viscosity, density and other phase relationships in the homogenization of the static mixer.

In the mining industry, static mixers are easy to use for homogenizing different liquids, air and solid components present in the flotation process. The technology has good mixing capacity and low maintenance due to the absence of dynamic devices. For each application there is an ideal static mixer model. CEMI produces flanged or threaded static mixers in various sizes and diameters.
