Solution: Focusing on the optimization of industrial processes, where there are external influences for the generation of energy, it is required an energy balance to obtain stability in the processes. In order to supply the boilers efficiently and aiming production stability, the generation of steam must absorb the variations of consumption in the processes, thus generating a better energy capacity. The proposed solution is to implement an advanced process control of the steam generation/electric power cogeneration system, in order to maximize the generation of electric energy, avoiding losses of steam. The optimizing control will act to stabilize the pressure of the various levels of vapor, analyzing the consumers.

Result: An increase of 2 to 5% in the production of electric energy and up to 35% reduction in the variability of the vapor pressure is expected.
